The inspiration for this series of watercolour works comes from a budgie that I adopted a few years ago, as well as the parrot community on the social media. These works not only showcase the unique characteristic of various parrot breeds, but also convey a message from the artist to the viewer: Parrots are not only colourful ornament birds, they are also great companions just like dogs and cats. This series of works are created to promote these lovely parrots which are just as adorable and cleaver as any other household pets. Hopefully the viewer will fall in love with these lovely birds as much as the artist.
